Requesting Emergency Production Machine Parts Follow
1. Purpose
To establish a consistent and accountable process for requesting parts needed to repair or maintain onboard Konica Minolta C4070 production printers and Multi-Function Devices (MFDs). This SOP ensures operational uptime and minimizes communication breakdowns with the technical and logistics support teams.
2. Scope
This SOP applies to all shipboard printer specialists and any crew members responsible for print equipment across the fleet managed by DG3.
3. Responsibility
Printer Specialist: Responsible for identifying machine issues, initiating part requests, and communicating port agent logistics.
Technical Leads (Ray Guerra & Rolando Abellan): Validate requests, confirm part availability, and oversee logistics with the port agent.
GSM (Guest Services Manager): Must be informed of machine downtime status when applicable.
4. Required Information for Part Request Email
When requesting parts, the following information must be included in the email. Failure to follow this process will delay part delivery and may impact print operations.
