Error Code Solution: C-2214 Follow

Problem:

Error C-2214

Classification:

Main body: Drum motor abnormality

Cause:

When the drum motor/K (M4) is active, an error detection signal of M4 is detected continuously for a specified period of time.

Solution:

First power off the printer, leave the machine off for 10 minutes, and power back on.
If the problem persists, turn the main power switch ON while pressing the Utility/Counter key. Keep holding it till the Service Menu appears, go to [Service Mode]-[02 Process Adjustment]-[Gamma Automatic Adjustment] and run this procedure. If the code is still there check the IO Check (41-15) of the M4 and the coupling of the gear, and repair or replace it when there is any abnormality.
