Error Code Solution: C-2811 (Yellow), C-2812 (Magenta), C-2813 (Cyan) & C-2814 (Black) Follow
Problem:
Error C-2811, C-2812, C-2813, C-2814
Classification:
Main body: Gamma correction abnormality
Cause:
The proper value cannot be figured out within the specified time by the correction of the patch density correction/Y. Alternatively, the proper value of the developing DC output is 0 or lower.
Solution:
- Power the machine OFF from the main switch leaving the sub switch ON.
- Turn the main power switch ON while pressing the Utility/Counter key. Keep holding it till the comes up in Service mode.
- Press 02 Process Adjustment
- Press 02 Drum Peculiarity

Select 04 Toner Density Revert, Select "only the color that affected by the error code", then hit the Start Button on the keypad, the machine should start to make a noise.
- After do Toner Density Auto Adjust, to save new toner density value.
Note:
If the readings are very high on any of the colors perform as below for that color Values for toner should be in around 6.4, you might have to run a few times to get it near 6.4
- A message "Completed" appears when finished.
- Select 02 and run the Gamma Automatic Adjustment, a message "Completed" will appear in the top left when finished.
- Exit Service mode to return to normal operation
- 03 execute adjust operation
- Select toner refresh mode and press ok.
Next possible solution:
- Switch the C,M,Y,K DV unit to the other machine that's working, if the code was not gone proceed to the next step.
- Replaced the C,M,Y,K DV unit and developer powder. Performed toner density sensor initial auto adjustment for the C,M,Y,K (Very Important)
