Jam Solution: J-3102 Follow

Problem:

Error J-3102 (Thin paper feed failure at the 2nd transfer unit)

Symptom:

When the J-3102 occurs, the paper stops between the fusing unit and the 2nd transfer unit.

Cause: 

a. The leading edge of paper is not separated and wraps the intermediate transfer belt.

b. The leading edge of the paper hits the leading edge of the separation discharge or enters the space between separate discharging Assy and the 2nd transfer roller then wrapping the roller

Solution:

• Check the connectors on the fuser that contact the main ADU as per this image. This may cause the Jam Code.
