Distribution Analyst Follow
Overview: The Distribution Analyst at DG3 plays a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain management of our print services for cruise clients. This fully remote position requires a strategic thinker who is adept in logistics management, data analysis, and collaborative decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Forge and nurture collaborative relationships with senior management to spearhead operational enhancements within the distribution network.
- Actively collaborates with the finance and operations to align distribution strategies with company goals.
- Identifies potential risks in the supply chain, conducts thorough risk assessments, and develops mitigation strategies to safeguard against disruptions.
- Addresses internal client inquiries regarding logistics and distribution, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Create detailed operational reports for internal and external teams using platforms such as Excel and PowerBi.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Develop creative methods like mind maps and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for different groups.
- Support and create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the business.
- Conduct detailed tracking and reporting for transportation and store delivery.
- Generate weekly and monthly Inbound/Outbound KPIs and drive enhancements in metrics.
- Develop scorecards, dashboards, and exception reports to identify service and cost opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a Logistics solutions library.
- Collaborate with department members to provide insights for maintaining appropriate Safety Stock levels for all items.
- Provide delivery strategies to cross-functional departments for special needs as requested.
- Analyze and make recommendations to improve delivery performance.
- Streamline and optimize supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
- Maintain organized filing systems and take notes in meetings as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and tools like Excel and PowerBi.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex data.
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in scheduling, projecting, and placing orders with suppliers, managing supply chain timetables.
- Proficient in technology and software for inventory tracking, shipment management, and customer communication.
