Safety, Accident Prevention, and Reporting
- Safety, security, and public health are at the center of all decisions and actions. It is everyone’s job to keep the ship, guests, and fellow employees safe.
- All announcements are audible and clear. Emergency announcements are broadcast ship-wide including staterooms and dining venues.
- Print Specialist are required to report all safety hazards to Shipboard Management and the appropriate maintenance personnel on board. Every employee is familiar with security and safety shipboard policies.
- All accidents, no matter how minor, must be reported to the Security Officer, the Safety Officer, the medical center, shipboard management, the Senior Director of Human Resources and DG3 Management immediately. Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including termination.
- All employees act in an ethical manner and respect the “Save the Waves” program and other initiatives which ensure our guests enjoy the experiences.
- Employees are responsible for attending all safety training classes as directed by ship management, the Shipboard Manager, or the Company.

Note:
All shipboard employees are required to attend guest drill every embarkation day before sailing away. Our safety drill position is stairway guide, and in the event of an emergency, you would guide passengers to their muster station. You will be trained in safety drills onboard. The crew also participates in a crew-only drill twice a month for additional practice.
- Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) should always be easily available in the print shop.
