Error Code: C-5030 Follow

Classification
Main body: Printer control board 3.3 V abnormality

Cause
Printer control board (PRCB) 3.3 V DC abnormality.
An error signal is detected continuously for a specified period of time.

Measures to take when an alert occurs
The main body and the option stop immediately.

Estimated abnormal parts
• Printer control board (PRCB)
• Image processing board (IPB)
• DC power supply/2 (DCPS2)

Correction
Deactivate and activate the sub power switch (SW2) of the main body.
 

Solution
1. Disconnect CN100 on PRCB, boot the main body, and check the 5 V output of CN100-1.
Replace PRCB when the output is 5 V.
2. Check the connector connection between PRCB and DCPS2, CN100 of PRCB, CN4PU2 of DCPS2, and the wiring. Then repair it when
there is any abnormality.
3. Check the connector connection between DCPS2 and IPB, CN2PU2 of DCPS2, CN3701 of IPB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
4. Check connector connection between IPB and PRCB, CN5402 of IPB, CN107 of PRCB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
5. Replace IPB. 
6. Replace PRCB.
7. Replace DCPS2.
