Error Code: C-2804 Follow

Classification

Main body: Gamma correction abnormality

Cause

The output voltage of the IDC sensor/Fr (IDCS1) or IDC sensor/Rr (IDCS2) is detected more than the specified value on the patch/K of the developing DC maximum output.
Measures to take when an alert occurs
The main body and the option stop immediately.

Estimated abnormal parts

• Printer control board (PRCB)
• Developing unit/K
• IDC sensor/Fr (IDCS1)
• IDC sensor/Rr (IDCS2)

• IDC sensor shutter solenoid (SD4)

  Correction Note

▪ The message "Please call service" is displayed on the panel. Solution

1. Check that the process unit is correctly installed without looseness, and reinstall or repair it when there is any abnormality.
2. Check the installation of the developing unit, and repair or replace it when there is an abnormality.
3. Check the IDC sensor and clean it if the sensor is dirty.

4. Check the IO Check (05-06) of IDCS1, and repair or replace it when there is any abnormality.

   Note

▪ The output check on the IO check mode has restrictive conditions. Check the IO check mode list before the output check.

5. Check the IO Check (05-12) of IDCS2, and repair or replace it when there is any abnormality. Note

6. Check the connector connection between PRCB and IDCS1, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
7. Check the connector connection between PRCB and IDCS2, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
8. Check the IO Check (55-00) of SD4 and repair or replace it when there is any abnormality.
9. Replace IDCS1 or IDCS2.
10. Replacing the developing unit.
11. Replace PRCB.
