Main body: Fan abnormality
 

Cause
When the tacking fan/5 (FM36) is active, an error detection signal of FM36 is detected continuously for a specified period of time.
 

Measures to take when an alert occurs
The main body and the option stop immediately.
 

Estimated abnormal parts
• Printer control board (PRCB)
• Tacking fan/5 (FM36)
 

Correction
Note
▪ The message "Please call service" is displayed on the panel.
 

Solution
1. Check the connector connection between PRCB and FM36, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
2. Rotate FM36 by hand or the IO Check (42-57). Then repair it when there is any abnormality. (Wiring diagram: Main body (3/5): 11-O)
3. Replace FM36.
4. Replace PRCB.
