Classification

Main body: Fusing unit installation abnormality

Cause

When C-3107 (fusing unit installation abnormality (warning for users)) occurred 3 times in a row.

Note

• When a fusing unit installation abnormality occurs, C-3107 occurs first. When C-3107 occurs, the user must reinstall the ADU mount according to the solution that is displayed on the operation panel. When the user reinstalls the ADU mount, the fusing unit installation abnormality may be resolved.
• When C-3107 is not resolved even after the user reinstall the ADU mount twice (= C-3107 occurs 3 times in a row), C-3913 occurs. When C-3913 occurs, the user must contact the service manager, who performs the C-3913 solution.

Measures to take when an alert occurs

The main body and the option stop immediately.

Correction

Note

• The message "Please call service" is displayed on the panel.

Solution

1. Check that the fusing unit is properly installed, and repair it when there is any abnormality.
2. Check the connection between the rear side connector of the fusing unit and the main body side connector, and repair it when there is any abnormality.
3. Check the connector connection of PRCB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
4. Replace PRCB.
5. Replace the fusing unit.
