Classification
Main body: Printer control board 24 V1 abnormality
Cause
Printer control board (PRCB) 24 V1 DC abnormality.
An error signal is detected continuously for a specified period of time after the sub power switch (SW2) is activated.
Measures to take when an alert occurs
The main body and the option stop immediately.

- Printer control board (PRCB)
- DC power supply/2 (DCPS2) (AC57V130##, AC58V130## (C4070: Japan))
- Each loading of PRCB connection (motor, solenoid and clutch)
Correction
Note
- The message "Please call service" is displayed on the panel.
Solution
- Disconnect CN100 on PRCB to boot the main body, and check the 24 V output of CN100-2 and CN100-3.
- If there is no 24 V output, check the connector connection and the wiring of PRCB and DCPS2. Repair it when there is any abnormality. If no abnormality exists, replace DCPS1.
- Replace PRCB when the output is 24 V.
- Check the loading of PRCB connection (the motor, the solenoid, and the clutch), and repair or replace it when there is any abnormality.
- Replace PRCB and DCPS2 at a time.
