PF-707m: PF control circuit initial communication abnormality

Cause

Within a specified period of time after the machine is booted and ACK is enabled, the control circuit1 initial communication in the previous device of PF is not performed.

Measures to take when an alert occurs

The main body and the option stop immediately.

• PF drive board (PFUDB)
• Printer control board (PRCB)

Correction

Note

• The message "Please call service" is displayed on the panel.

Solution

1. Check the connector connection between the main body and PF, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
2. PF-707m: Check the connector connection on PFUDB and PRCB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
3. PF-707m: Check the connector connection between PFUDB and PRCB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
4. PF-707m: Replace PFUDB.
5. Replace PRCB.
