Classification

Main body: CCD power pressure abnormality

Cause

Within a specified period of time at the startup, the CCD power ON is not checked.

Measures to take when an alert occurs

The main body and the option stop immediately.

Estimated abnormal parts

• CCD board (CCDB)
• Scanner drive board (SCDB)
• Image processing board (IPB)
• DC power supply/2 (DCPS2) (AC57V130##, AC58V130## (C4070: Japan))

Correction

Note

• The message "Please call service" is displayed on the panel.

Solution

1. Rewrite the firmware (I0) of the image control to G00-31 or later version.
2. Perform the IO Check (99-70) and check if there is a problem with IPB.
   • When the results are abnormal, perform solution 3 and solution 8.
   • When the results are normal, perform following solutions other than solution 8.
3. Check the connector connection between CCDB and IPB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
4. Check the connector connection between CCDB and SCDB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
5. Check the connector connection between SCDB and DCPS1, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
6. Replace CCDB.
7. Replace SCDB.
8. Replace IPB.
9. Replace DCPS2.
