Main body: Offset adjustment abnormality

Cause

The offset adjustment value is outside the specified range.

Measures to take when an alert occurs

The main body and the option stop immediately.

Estimated abnormal parts

• CCD board (CCDB)
• Scanner drive board (SCDB)
• Image processing board (IPB)
• Overall control board (OACB)

Correction

Note

• The message "Please call service" is displayed on the panel.

Solution

1. Prior check
   • Check that the scanner is installed properly.
   • Check if there is any problem with the connector connection of the overall control board (OACB).
2. Perform the IO Check (99-70) and check if there is a problem with IPB.
   • When the results are abnormal, perform solution 3, solution 4, and solution 8.
   • When the results are normal, perform following solutions other than solution 8.
3. Check the connector connection between IPB and CCDB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
4. Check the connector connection between IPB and SCDB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
5. Replace CCDB.
6. Replace SCDB.
7. Replace OACB.
8. Replace IPB.
