Classification

DF: Double feed detection abnormality

Cause

When the main power becomes active, an abnormality is confirmed in the output from the multi feed detection board/TX (MFDB/TX) and the multi feed detection board/RX (MFDB/RX).

Measures to take when an alert occurs

The main body and the option stop immediately.

• Multi feed detection board/RX (MFDB/RX)
• DF control board (DFCB)

Correction

Note

• The message "Please call service" is displayed on the panel.

Solution

1. Check the connector connection between MFDB/TX or MFDB/RX and DFCB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
2. Replace MFDB/TX, MFDB/RX and DFCB.
3. Replace DFCB.
