Cause

An engine software abnormality of the printer control board (PRCB) is detected.

Measures to take when an alert occurs

The main body and the option stop immediately.

Estimated abnormal parts

• Image processing board (IPB)
• Printer control board (PRCB)

Correction

Deactivate and activate the sub power switch (SW2) of the main body.

Note

• The message "Please turn on power again" is displayed on the touch panel.

Solution

1. Check the connector connection between PRCB and IPB, CN153 of PRCB, CN5500 of IPB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
2. Check the connector connection between PRCB and IPB, CN103 of PRCB, CN5402 of IPB, and the wiring. Then repair it when there is any abnormality.
3. Replace PRCB.
4. Replace IPB.
